With the iPhone 5s having come out recently, Apple fans across the globe have been raving about its new features and how much fun it is to own and operate. With the new fingerprint scanner, improved camera and better battery life, iPhone owners should be proud of their new phones. There are a lot more things that you can do with the new 5s that many people don't know about, however. One of the things that you can do with it is control your home from afar.

With your iPhone, you're able to control almost every aspect of your home. Home security, lighting, small appliances, thermostats and electronics can all be controlled from the palm of your hand with some of Apple's latest software. With this kind of control, you'll never feel paranoid about expensive bills, home or family security ever again.

How often have you rushed out of the house in the morning, trying to make it to work on time, when you realize that you left the air conditioning, coffee pot and lights on? It happens to the very best of us. If you own an iPhone, you won't have to worry about that, anymore. You can turn on and off your lights and small appliances from your phone. You'll also have control to turn on and off your heating/air conditioning, so that it won't be consuming energy for the eight or nine hours that you're at work. The ability to power those off can end up saving you a lot of money on your power bill, plus it makes your life much more convenient.

Home owners have more control via digital home automation

Hurrying out the door can also make you forget about your home and family security. You forget to lock the doors or activate your home security, thus leaving your home completely unprotected from harm. With a new digital home automation system and iPhone 5s, your home will be under constant watch. You can activate your home security system, lock the doors and even stream the live feed from your surveillance camera to your phone. You'll always know exactly what is happening around your house.

In order to have complete control over your home like this, you'll need a few things. You'll need a new home automation setup and you will also want to find one that is compatible with your phone. You might need to download an app from your home automation provider, but the installer will let you know about that when he puts the new system in your house. Once you get those taken care of, you'll have everything you need in order to embrace a more convenient and comfortable lifestyle.

New home automation is designed to make your life easier, and it's very good at doing so. Not only will it make your life more convenient and your bills cheaper, but it's also a lot of fun to use and show off. Get a home automation system installed and play around with the features on your phone and in your house, and you'll have one of the coolest homes on the block.
