A look at global tax rates and what they mean for you

Tax rates vary substantially across the world, but so does standard of living. When using the following interactive infographic, think about whether or not the countries with lower tax rates, universal health care and paid maternity leave also have high average incomes and quality of life. If they do, then those countries are potentially good migration investments.

In other words, when determining where to live or where the best prospects of a happy life are, consider more than just tax rates, but also other things like political stability, economic growth, average income, median incomes, employment rate etc. Just because tax rates are low, does not mean it will necessarily be a financial benefit.
